"Make sure to not go on a diet: if you have put on weight, it is not because you ate, it's because you are sick".

We must understand something very important: someone who has put on weight will not resolve their issue with a restrictive diet!
To better understand, let's consider the matter the other way round: a patient consults a doctor and tells him :
-"Doctor, I have lost my appetite, I have lost 15 kg in three months".
Do you think that the doctor will tell her: "Eat more, you will put on weight! Here is an hyper-caloric diet for you!"
Certainly not !
He will explore the patient, looking for a disease which could explain her weight loss : infectious or parasitic diseases, cancer, depression, etc.
If the emaciated patient only pushes herself to eat, she will be able to put on a few kilos, but for sure, the disease will have the upper hand over her, and she will lose weight again, more than before as the original disease will have kept on worsening ! (it is the same for a patient who has put on weight : a diet will allow her to lose a few kilos, but she will put on weight again, more than before, the original imbalance going worse ).
When a critically ill patient is hospitalized with cachexia, we often hear his wife telling him :" Eat more ! If you put on weight, you will heal."
Needless to say that it is only when the patient is cured that he will eat again, and will get back to his original weight.
So why not have the same logic when a patient says:
-"Doctor, I have a huge appetite, I've gained 15kg in three months!"
Therefore this patient must be treated, so that she is not that hungry any more, and thus can lose weight without going on any diet !
That's what acupuncture does !
Acupuncture remedies the imbalance, fights the cause of the disease, the cause of a weight gain.
Quickly, the patient is less hungry, eats less and gets thinner. But by eating all that she wants !
Because we must not forget that thin people do not diet !
So if we want to be thin, we must do like them : no diet whatsoever !
We just mustn’t be sick !

Is it better to eat at breakfast, lunch or dinner?
First and foremost, it's better to eat ... when you are hungry!
This being said, let’s think over it for a while: prehistoric men probably ate once a day: in the evening.
That is to say that for hundreds of thousands of years, our ancestors lived on one meal a day, in the evening.
I don't think that any genetic mutation occurred in mankind during the XIXth or XXth century that would have made us eat three times a day!
If we observe, from a medical point of view, what happens after eating a meal, we can see that for 24 hours, all is done to provide our organs with energy, without attacking our frame (muscles, bones, etc.).
Easy access to food has allowed us to multiply food intakes.
Is it better to eat in the morning before getting busy, or in the evening before having a rest or going to sleep?
While digesting, the blood flows to the alimentary canal. So it cannot go to the muscles at the same time!
That's the reason why we are more quiet, more relaxed, after eating.
The body is at rest to focus on digestion.
Sometimes, we can even nod off, or sleep after a meal.
So it seems physiological not to be active after a meal.
Now, let’s have a look at someone who has no preconceptions: a newborn.
Newborns suck, and then fall asleep. When they awake, they babble, move. Then they get hungry, suck again, and then sleep!
You will never see a newborn that would awake, suck, then move, and then sleep!

Meal must be a source of pleasure, not an obligation or a bad treatment.

Hunger is the best sauce
Do you always feel hungry when you have your breakfast? And do you have a drink before?
If you do, and if you are hungry, sit down and eat your breakfast!
But if you don't have a drink, change your habit and start the day with a drink.
And if you are not hungry, why do you want to eat ?
Wait !
If you eat something without hunger, all you eat will go into your fat !
So wait and see ! Your meal will be more delicious later, when hunger will really be in your belly !

Melatonin inhibits the formation of oestrogen
Oestrogen makes the number of growing breast cancers skyrocket.
That's why ovariectomies are done (main source of oestrogen) in hormone-dependent breast cancers.
A study of the British Journal of Cancer in 2009 indicates that melatonin reduces the development of breast cancer by decreasing the number of estrogen receptors and by inhibiting its production from testosterone.
After menopause, oestrogen is locally synthetized in some tissues, including breast tissues, thereby contributing to carcinogenesis. This local synthesis is conditional on the transformation of testosterone into oestrogen.
So there is a new therapeutic strategy which consists in inhibiting the production of oestrogen.
Today, the antineoplastic effects of melatonin - especially for hormone-dependent cancers- are acknowledged.
Associated with a conventional treatment, it increases its efficiency.

After the tyranny of psychoanalysis asking us to analyze what is good and evil in order to cope.
Here comes the tyranny of the ecological food that tells us what is right and wrong to eat!
"Deprive yourself with the food you love for 80 years, and perhaps you will live one year longer! "
My thesis advisor, Professor Paul Casanova told me one day: "If it is scientifically demonstrated, it is definitely wrong! . This surprised me, especially coming from a Professor of Medicine. But time has shown me that he was right! What was "true" a few years ago is false now!
Thus, Smallpox vaccinations went from compulsory to prohibitedovernight !
Those old commercials for alcoholic beverages, which boasted the benefits of drinking them before driving: "Do not take the road after a good meal before you have drunk a glass of Cointreau!."
No one was shoked at the time!
When the legal BAC limits was 1.2 g / l, you would have been congratulated when driving with 0.9 g / l. Now with a BAC limit of 0.9 g / l , you will find yourself in custody, and regarded as a criminal before the judge!
It is the same for H1N1: we were told it would kill tens of thousands of people in France if they didn't get vaccinated, whereas there were ten times fewer deaths from influenza than usual, though 90 % of French people didn't get vaccinated!
So on and so forth...
This is called the Doxa: the dominant ideology, a typically French single line of thinking, to which everyone must stick to in order not to pass as a fool!
Thus, we can rightly say to ourselves that what is "true" today will be admitted as "false" tomorrow!
And to go back to food, the main problem is obesity.
Obesity, or even just overweight, creates immediate discomfort in life.
Is chocolate fateningt? Cheese? Candies?
If they were, slim people would not eat them !
But here they are to prove otherwise! What is more annoying to a person on a diet than seeing a slim person swallowing a pizza or a cake?
Given this fact, my technique for losing weight does not offer any diet! I do not see why one should deprive themselves of cake when they want, while slim people eat some !
Actually, if you just eat a chocolate bar for dinner one evening, it's as if you had had a meal of 500 calories. This is not huge. And with a chocolate bar, you have much enough to indulge !
So forget the diets, and trust your bodies instead, after having it balanced of course, with acupuncture!

A study presented at the congress of the American Association of Cancer Research suggests that a rise in BMI (body mass index: W/H2, with W: Weight, and H: height in metres) increases the risk of breast cancer after menopause.
This study examined data from the 72,007 women of the group "Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial", aged 55-74 years old. The analysis covered 3677 cases of breast cancer after menopause.
Compared with the women who had a stable BMI, those whose BMI rose by 5 kg/m2 or more between 20 years old and the beginning of the study had nearly doubled the risk of havinga breast cancer. More Specifically, the study showed that 5 points up in BMI between 20 and 50 years old is associated with a risk of breast cancer at menopause increased by 88%!
One more reason to pay attention to one's weight!
